Storm winds blow

Storm winds blew, billowing through darkened streets,
Shifting the landscape beneath my feet,
Causing me to slip and slide
Finding nowhere safe to hide.

My heart pounds with real raw fear
With natures reminders you are near
And troubled my mind, like river, race
As tears flow down my storm-blown face.

Big Brother on the Skerries

Sometimes I want to just stand

Stand on a coastline between here and there

Looking to the seas to understand

Looking to eternity to see you care
